Dann ging es mit der U-Bahn nach Osaka Umeda und dem Express nach Kyoto. Hier begr\u00fc\u00dfte uns zun\u00e4chst ein ganz anderes Bild &#8211; die Gassen sind kleiner und noch weniger gr\u00fcn. Unser Hotel ist recht neu und unser Zimmer gerade gro\u00df genug f\u00fcr 4 Matratzen.<br>Kaum im Hotel angekommen, machten wir uns gleich wieder auf den Weg. Montagabend stand noch etwas Kultur auf dem Plan und vorher wollten wir noch Sushi zum Abendessen genie\u00dfen.<br>19 Uhr besuchten wir das Gion Corner Theater, wo uns verschiedene lokale Traditionen wie die Teezubereitung, Musik, Tanz und Comedy vorgef\u00fchrt wurden. Das war sch\u00f6n anzusehen und doch bleibt die Frage, ob solche kulturellen Aspekte noch Teil des heutigen japanischen Lebens sind. Gion ist \u00fcbrigens ein Stadtbezirk in Kyoto und auch als Geisha-Viertel bekannt. Hier sind die H\u00e4user alle etwas \u00e4lter und kleiner und es gibt viele Restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 \ud83d\ude09 Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gab es \u00e0 la Carte.<br>Vom 17. bis 24. Juli fand das Gion Festival statt. Heute, am 24., gab es eine Parade mit toll gestalteten Wagen &#8211; das lie\u00dfen wir uns nat\u00fcrlich nicht entgehen.<br>Nach einigen Paradewagen machten wir uns auf den Weg gen S\u00fcdwesten, zum Shint\u014d-Schrein Fushimi Inari-Taisha. P\u00fcnktlich zur Ankunft begr\u00fc\u00dfte uns unser erster Regen in Japan. Leider sorgte dieser nicht f\u00fcr Erfrischung, sondern nur eine massiv erh\u00f6hte Luftfeuchtigkeit, w\u00e4hrend uns die ~30\u00b0C den Schwei\u00df auf die Stirn trieb. Mit Schirm ging es los zu einem mit Toriis dicht ges\u00e4umten Weg. Der eigentliche Schrein war oben auf dem Berg, den wir angesichts des Gewitters und der Temperaturen dann nicht aufsuchten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images Suche nach Mittagessen. Leider sind die Kinder der japanischen K\u00fcche noch nicht sehr aufgeschlossen, sodass es Hamburger und Schokoerdbeeren gab. Frisch gest\u00e4rkt nahmen wir, nun wieder zu viert, den Bus gen Nordwesten. Hier gab es den Kinkaku-ji Tempel mit einer goldenen Pagode zu bestaunen. war. W\u00e4hrenddessen kam ein kleiner Umzug vorbei.<br>Abendessen gab es nach ein wenig Sucherei in einem Gyoza-Restaurant. Das sind kleine, gebratene Teigtaschen. Hier konnten wir direkt an der K\u00fcche am Tresen sitzen und bei der Zubereitung zusehen. Grunds\u00e4tzlich \u00f6ffnete und schloss er die T\u00fcren des Zuges. Er \u00fcberwachte die Bahnsteigkante bei der Ausfahrt aus dem Fenster gelehnt mit dem Daumen am Not-Aus-Knopf. Auch f\u00fchrte er Durchsagen durch und machte w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt \u201epr\u00fcfende\u201c Armbewegungen z.B. an Bahn\u00fcberg\u00e4ngen. Er nahm seine Rolle sehr ernst.<br>Ein mal jedoch musste er seine Kabine verlassen. Vor der T\u00fcr standen jedoch unser und ein anderer Koffer. Doch statt uns zu ermahnen, dr\u00e4ngelte er sich vorsichtig durch und entschuldigte und bedankte sich ganz h\u00f6flich, dass wir ihn durchlie\u00dfen und den Koffer etwas zur Seite r\u00fcckten. Bei der R\u00fcckkehr in die Kabine das gleiche Spiel.
