Viel gab es auf der Strecke nicht zu entdecken, doch auf Anraten der Campingplatzbesitzerin stoppten wir in M\u00e9rtola. Hier ging es durch eine kleine Altstadt, deren Gassen so eng waren, dass man sich wunderte, wie die Einwohner mit den Autos \u00fcberhaupt zu ihren H\u00e4usern kamen.<br>Beim n\u00e4chsten Stopp in Beja gab es wieder eine nette Altstadt zu sehen und Sushi zum Mittag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weiter ging es die Landstra\u00dfen bis \u00c9vora, vorbei an unz\u00e4hligen Olivenb\u00e4umen und Korkeichen. Die Korkeichen standen eher vereinzelt und waren \u201eunten rum schon nackig\u201c &#8211; die St\u00e4mme waren bis etwa 2m H\u00f6he gesch\u00e4lt und ganz dunkel, die \u00c4ste hingegen noch eher hell. Von nahem konnten wir jedoch keine Korkeiche sehen. Die Olivenb\u00e4ume standen alle in Reih und Glied in unterschiedlichsten Altersgraden f\u00fcr den professionellen Anbau. Am Parkplatz in \u00c9vora konnten wir einen voll-behangenen Olivenbaum begutachten. Das Probieren der Oliven war dann jedoch nur von kurzer Dauer, da sie roh sehr starke Bitterstoffe enthalten. Hier braucht es also die Salzlake beim Einlegen, um diese Bitterstoffe zu entkr\u00e4ften.<br>\u00c9vora hatte auch wieder eine tolle Altstadt, die aber ganz anders aussah als die bisherigen, unz\u00e4hligen Altst\u00e4dte. Hier war der r\u00f6mische Einfluss deutlich sichtbar und erinnerte uns stark an unsere s\u00fcddeutschen Altst\u00e4dte. Leider kam etwas Nieselregen auf, doch der sollte unserem Rundgang keinen Abbruch tun.
