Hier gab es eine alte Altstadt innerhalb der Stadtmauer und drum herum noch mehr Altstadt zu besichtigen. Vergangenheit haben sie hier in Portugal. Innerhalb der Stadtmauer besuchten wir die Kathedrale von Faro mit einem Glockenturm, den man f\u00fcr eine gute Aussicht besteigen konnte. Anschlie\u00dfend ging es zu einer anderen Kirche am Rande der Altstadt mit dem pr\u00e4chtigen Namen Igreja da Ordem Terceira de Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo, die eine \u201eKnochenkapelle\u201c zu bieten hatte. Hier wurden im Jahr 1816 \u00fcber 1000 Gebeine verstorbener M\u00f6nche exhumiert und verbaut, um Platz auf dem Friedhof zu schaffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images den Fisch- und den Gem\u00fcsemarkt besuchten. den Strand und die Lagune, wo die M\u00e4dels reiten waren. Das Ende des Strands markiert dann auch das Ende von Portugal. Nach der Flussm\u00fcndung beginnt Spanien. F\u00fcr uns war das auch der Abschied vom Atlantik und der Algarve, da wir uns nun im Inland zur\u00fcck gen Norden orientieren werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
